A view to the past

My dream come true
June, 1988
I had dreamed that one day I would get a son of our lovely Sergej -
and here he finally was, my puppyboy Czardas, on the day he moved to
live with our family.
PAST BORZOIS

Hatsina Czardas Czar
"Czardas"
born 14th of April, 1988
sire BIS Fin Ch Hatsina Artamon Sergej
dam Fin Ch Colhugh Cinatasha
breeders Johanna & Pertti Hellgren, kennel Hatsina, Finland
In April 1988 our Sergej became a father of Hatsina C -litter
which was
3 males and 1 female puppy. The mother was Fin Ch
Colhugh Cinatasha,
a gorgeous import from Reg Bassett's world
famous Colhugh kennel, GB.
I really liked the pedigree of this
litter as I adored English type of borzois a lot. Czardas'
pedigree was a combination of English (Colhugh, Shelbor,
Wellthornes, Keepers) lines with Finnish (Burjan, Polongain) and
Central European (Romanow's) lines.

Czardas was our happy go lucky boy, very self-confident and
friendly character. He was a great runner and had lovely,
powerful trot. Unfortunately Czardas injured his leg in an early
age and was just showed couple of times in his life. He got one
CAC from veteran class with BM-2 in a show where borzois entry
was 32.
Czardas became an endlessly patient and respected leader of
our dog pack; which was a Dobermann and two Parson Russell
terriers at that time.

Czardas graced our lifes 12 years and followed his father to
the Rainbow Bride in year 2000. The happy joker and beloved and
wise leader of our pack was gone and the house felt so empty all
of the sudden.
