Early morning, long drive.

Vito likes travelling in car, enjoyed the show, won his class with EX1 and became BM-2 with res-CACIB!

Very nice trip, lots of friends and our darling Vito did very well in the ring :-)

Porvoo all breed show

Porvoo is one of my favourite little cities in Finland (greetings to my grandmums there!) and the Old Town is really worth to visit.

We had a good time meeting our friends and Vito liked showing. He won his class with EX1, went BM-1 and BOS! :-)

Vito and I went to Tallinn with my parents with one of these fast ferries. It's a very comfortable way to get there as it only takes 1,5 hours to be on the other side of the sea and you don't really have to spend too much time on just travelling.

We had a lovely hotel in old town with a big park in front of it, so perfect for travelling with a dog :-)

The show was in a sports ground and the ring in good size. It was nice to meet some friends there too - Johanna & Katri (thank you for the photo!).

A bee was flying around us very annoying just before it was Vito's time to enter the ring. Vito, who likes this kind of things, snapped it on his mouth and killed it. I was a bit worried if the bee has managed to bite Vito back, but luckily he didn't show any signs for that.

Vito showed very nicely, won his class with EX1, continued the same way in Best Male ring, became BM-1 and eventually BOB!!!
Vito got his first CACIB and CAC, which makes him ESTONIAN CHAMPION!
We were so happy, almost jumping up to the air!! :-)

We had such a lovely time waiting for the finals and Vito got his good mood also in the group ring and placed nicely as GROUP-4!!

Beach trip + Pori international show

We decided to have a little holiday trip to Pori at the same weekend as the show was. The best part of Pori is the Yyteri dunes and lovely, looong beach, probably longest in Finland. We stayed in a hotel just next to the dunes and the beach.

Vito loves to swim, and we really had to keep an eye on him on Saturday that he didn't just extend our walk in a close by forest and went to swim a bit :-)

The show was on Sunday. Vito became EX3 in his class and BM-3.

And then we headed right back to the Yyteri beach and let Vito finally go to swim :-)

Lovely to show in Helsinki, almost around the corner from our home :-)

Vito also liked it there and showed very nicely, he became EX1, then BM-1 and BOS! Congratulations Karin & Anja for BOB win!

My parents travelled with Vito to Karjaa show as I was on a working trip.
And what the nice result they got - EX1 in champion males, BM-1 and BOS!!!

Finnish Borzoi Club's Speciality show

What a beautiful summer day to our own speciality show!

Vito became EX2 out of nine champion males and in BM ring he was really enjoying it in the ring becoming BM-3! What a lovely result out of 43 males entered!

For my great joy Johanna & Pertti Hellgren let me show their gorgeous Russian import Amagamma Molnija "Moli"  on her third show in Finland. Moli won her class, being EX1 out of 9 open class females. Later in Best Female ring she moved like a dream and showed her best - becoming BF-1 out of 47 females and got her first CAC!!!

In Best In Show competition Moli hit the ring with all her energy in movement - and became BEST IN SHOW!!!
This was such a dream come true to all of us! Thank you, Johanna & Pertti, for letting me share this wonderful experience with Moli and all of you :-)

In his first show this year Vito won his class with EX1 and became BM-4.
This was also Vito's second time competing in champion class and we are very happy!
